US research says IQ levels determined by the height of your shoe heels...

Before I get flamed by every female on the planet, I don't happen to agree with this article. Especially since my partner, Victoria, always wears heels of at least 4"!

A high heel could mean a low IQ, according to recent research from doctors and foot specialists.
The research carried out in America, involving 531 women, found the greater a woman's educational attainment the lower her heel.

But for all those highly intelligent women who often wear high heels, they have simply dismissed the findings.

Television personality Carol Vorderman, who is known for her mathematical talent, told the Daily Mail: 'I don't see how the height of a stiletto can have any bearing on the intelligence of of the wearer. 'I think the higher the heel the better the balance of the person.'

And Fred Beaumont, president of the Institute of Chiropodists, also expressed his reservations.
He said: 'Women's choice of footwear depends entirely on the job they are doing and what your employer requires of you. 'Linking the length of the heel to the intellect doesn't hold water in my view.
'Some of my women patients who wear high heels are very intellectual indeed, holding down top jobs.'

The research was carried out by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, which are an association of foot specialists set on steering the public to wearing more 'sensible' shoes.
They said they found 58 per cent of women with more than four years of college education wore flat shoes.

Dr Cherise Dyal, co-author of the study, told the Daily Mail: 'Educational background appears to play a role in footwear choices.'
She added that the study also found that more than three quarters of women wear low-heeled shoes at work.

So which one is worn by the more intelligent woman?
