Cab Ride Video's

RunFurrow Video were invited by Virgin Trains to attend the Super Voyager Class 221 test run in France on Friday the 1st February 2002. The Class 221 was tested over the 101 kilometre ( 62 3/4 mile) twisting route between Cahors and Brive which could almost have been built to test these tilting trains. We first see the Class 221 on a long curving viaduct at Souillac where it shows off its tilting (5.4) almost to its maximum of 6 degrees. Next we see the Class 221 in Brive Station where it is named Louis Bleriot after the French aviation pioneer who made the first flight across the English Channel in his monoplane in 1909. We then take a ride inside the Class 221 as it makes its way back to Cahors, you see the results of a video camera mounted in the cab mixed with the on board computer showing the speed and the angle of tilt as we progress along this winding route. Then at Brive we see the tilting put through its paces in a display while standing at the station.
The video is approx 30 Minutes long. £15.00 each Order No.55 V.T.6.
