Prayer Requests

  Jesus said:

"Come to me all who are weary and burdened

and I will give you rest."

"Please pray for me..." After every 10a.m. Service at St. peter & St. Paul's, quietly in the Lady Chapel, two members of our Prayer Ministry Team are available to listen and pray with you. You may want prayer for yourself or someone else. What you share is confidential."

There are times when we need to bring those things that burden us to God and open our lives to His love, care and healing. We believe it is important that the Church provides opportunities for this to happen. If you would like to know more, speak to Julie on (01280) 813988

If you would like to pray for someone and include them in our Sunday service prayers, please complete the form below:

Using the space below, please add their name(s) and/or anything you feel would be appropriate. We also include a list of prayers below the form.

We also have a Care Team who are willing to provide help and support in the wider community. If you are in need of help, or know someone whose needs are not being met, do contact Judith Bundock (01280) 813887, Beverley Stockhill (01280) 817339, or one of the clergy:

Collect for St.Peter and St. Paul ( June 29th Feast Day)

Almighty God,
your apostles Peter and Paul glorified you
in their death as in their life.
Grant that your Church,
inspired by their teaching and example,
may stand firm on the one foundation
which is your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Lord, make us instruments of your peace
Where there is hatred let us sow love
Where there is injury let there be pardon
Where there s discord, union
Where there is doubt, faith
Where there is despair, hope
Where there is darkness, light
Where there is sadness, joy
For your mercy and for your truth's sake.
Amen.

Eternal God and Father
You create us by your power
And redeem us by your love
Guide and strengthen us by your Spirit
That we may give ourselves in love and service
To one another and to you,
Through Jesus Christ our Lord
Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, we thank you
for all the benefits you have won for us.
For all the pains and insults you have borne for us.
Most merciful redeemer,
Friend and brother,
May we know you more clearly
love you more dearly,
and follow you more nearly,
day by day.
Amen.
