They entered Jerusalem and went to the temple of the LORD with harps and lutes and trumpets. Music has always been a central part of worship- in fact, so essential as to have been described as “the bicycle upon which liturgy rides”. Choirs, music groups, organists, keyboard players, instrumentalists, congregations- all have their part to play in ensuring that our hearts, minds and bodies are moved to worship! Music can bring spiritual openings on different levels, whether you enjoy helping to lead worship by singing in the choir or playing an instrument in the music group. Ultimately this means we are open to new thinking, especially ideas you might bring, as we prepare a wide variety of music to meet all the needs of worship.
