Dear All

Can I please emphasise to EVERYONE that the "new" grades on the ECF web site are NOT OFFICIAL for ANY PURPOSE for the current season. The Federation's intention is to publish official grades on the revised basis in July 2009. The provisional revised grades for 2008 were published to give organisers data to enable them to decide how they should readjust the grading limits for their events taking place in the 2009/10 season. I'm afraid that in a misguided rush to meet an arbitrary deadline insufficient care was taken with the drafting of the explanation, which has led to the current confusion.
