The Family Client
There has been
an explosion in communications during the last quarter century. Yet there has
never been a time when it has been so hard to keep in touch.
We change
jobs and move house more than we ever did. So what could make more sense than a
family web site?
It could act as a clearing-house for family contact
information, for family history, for photographs, news and support. Family or
friends all over the world can keep in touch at the click of a mouse.
Here are some recently developed family websites:
1 Daughter Ceri had her domain name as a
birthday present from her father two years ago. She and Andy used it most
recently to inform guests of the arrangements for their wedding. They were able
to add some photos after the event. www.cerisimon.co.uk
2 Niece
Catherine became a Sutch when she married Jonathan and they decided to
celebrate their firstborn with their own family website. www.sutchtribe.co.uk
3 I use my own personal website
not only for keeping the rest of the family updated with recent events, such as
grandchildrens' birthday parties and holidays, but also for keeping in touch
with friends. www.jeffsimon.co.uk
