modem's mission
A national and ecumenical Christian network which seeks to initiate authentic dialogue between exponents of leadership, organisation, spirituality and ministry in order to aid the development of better disciples, communities, society and world.

To this end, a national and ecumenical network was formed as a charity to encourage better understanding between leadership, organisation, spirituality and ministry.

This website

Why modem
A Modem is a device to facilitate two-way communication and we aim to facilitate two-way communication between those interested in leadership, organisation, spirituality and ministry,
between leaders and organisers in the Church and secular worlds.

It all began (again) when …
After cooperation and support from the three main Christian bodies – Free Church Council, Roman Catholic Church and the Church of England – and with the blessing of CORAT we got going in June 1993 with great enthusiasm.
