It is quite normal for companies to carry on calling you, even if they have received the proforma Oftel letter. They shouldn't and they risk being cut off for doing so "on the instructions of the Director General of Oftel".
Right. Get real. So the phone companies are going to cut off a company sending thousands of pounds their way making junk phone calls? We think not.
Nevertheless at this point you should write to Oftel and complain. Oftel wants you to include a copy of the letter you originally sent the company. Like they don't know what it is, because they supplied it in the first place.

Oftel will then write to the company in fairly severe terms pointing out the law and insisting on action. We would be surprised if you got any more calls from this particular company.
If they do it again, Oftel should now instruct the phone companies to cut off your persecutor's phone. But don't hold your breath; this power has so far never been used and thus never tested in the courts.
One notorious double glazing company - Warmshield of Coventry - has received two written warnings from OFTEL but continues to junk call people who don't want to be junk called, regardless.
