1988 Fender StratocasterPlus

I was very lucky to get this guitar at a very good price. The keyboard player in the band I was in at the time owned a music shop which was about to get an unwelcome visit from the bailiffs. In an attempt to "liquidate" his stock, he let me have my pick of guitars at prices that were more than reasonable.

So, I ended up with a pink Strat. The only other Fender I've seen in this finish was a fairly old Precision bass. If you know what the colour is called, please e-mail me.

The guitar is fitted with a Wilkinson Roller Nut, which helps with trem stability quite a lot, and Gold Lace Sensor pickups, which are very quiet in operation

In spite of the colour, which I've almost gotten used to, this is my main guitar. I find that Strats are very adaptable to all kinds of music, and whilst you don't quite get the full tone of a Les Paul, you can cover most bases.
