ASIA - REGIONAL GEOLOGY MAPS
For the purposes of this catalogue, we have taken a very broad definition
of Asia, covering from Turkey in the West to Australasia in the East. Hence,
there are no maps covering the continent as a whole, because it is such a big
area. We are sometimes able to supply digital maps - please ask. Click here for Middle East Regional Maps
Please note that South and East Asia maps cover a much bigger area
than South East Asia maps.
Partly because they are such big countries, partly because there is such
great interest in them, and partly because of the number of publications
available, we have compiled separate sections for the former
Soviet Union (ex-USSR) and for China.
Asia – Geological Map of Asia and Europe 1:5,000,000. GPH, 1996, 9 sheets + text in English. Covers the whole landmass in a consistent style, compiled from a variety of fairly recent mapping. ASIGLM002 - £450-00.
Asia, South and East - Geological Map of South and East Asia 1:5,000,000. UNESCO/CGMW, 1991, 6 sheets. This completely revised third edition covers the whole of Asia from Iran to Indonesia, excluding ex-USSR. Includes stratigraphic columns. Excellent detail for the scale. Asia, South East - Geological Map of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia 1:1,000,000. 1991, six sheets + text. Full colour with extensive legend and 158 page memoir in English. These rare maps are difficult to acquire. INCGLM003 - £450-00.

Overview of the general geology of Europe and Asia, excluding the Arab countries and Israel. Primary information concerns natural resources, structure, and stratigraphy.
