Martin Flewin (1882-1968) was a keeper at London Zoo for forty years. He became famous for boxing kangaroos and latter became the Zoo's head keeper. His son, Leslie (1903-1989), followed in his father's footsteps starting work as a keeper, moving on to travel the world acquiring animals for the Zoo and then to be a member of the Zoo Executive Council.
