Milton Keynes Acorn User Group
Frequently Asked Questions
Below is a short list of some of the frequently asked questions about the Milton Keynes Acorn User Group:
- What is the MKAug?
- Who is the MKAug applicable to?
- How do I join the MKAug?
- But what about those non-Internet people?
What is the MKAug?
The MKAug is a group of Acorn users who live in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. Basicially, it's for all Acorn users in Buckinghamshire and nearby counties (eg. Herts and Beds) in England.
Who is the MKAug applicable to?
To be a member of the MKAug, you have to currently be on the Internet, as we have no decent way of contacting non-Internet users. Basicially, all you have to do is: Have an Acorn computer of any sort, live nearish Milton Keynes, like Acorn computers and have an e-mail address.
How do I join the MKAug?
If you are interested in becoming a member of the MKAug, please get in contact with Marc Warne (marc@alphapro.demon.co.uk), the Subscriptions person. You will then be put on a mailing list for the MKAUG. This is a fairly low-traffic mailing list, with only about 3-5 e-mails per day.
But what about those non-Internet people?
Once we really get running, we will be able to support members without a modem, but at the moment, all our discussions are taken place through the mailing list. Sorry!
