| INTERESTING SAFETY SNIPPET! You are entering a boom-free zone! All of our Drascombes have loose footed sails without booms (except for the mizzens on our Drifter 22 & Gig). There was an interesting article in PBO, January 05, under the heading of FIRST AID, entitled Boom & Bust. It listed the main types of incident of life threatening conditions in order of frequency. Top of the list? Head injuries - especially from swinging booms. |
