NON-STANDARD SIZES
To extend our standard offer FAKRO have made it possible to manufacture windows in any size (within the range shown below). This solution is available in one version, in which the external pane is made of non-toughened glass, and the internal pane is made of secure, laminated glass, class 02 Openable windows: a (width) = 50-134 [cm] b (height) = 78-160 [cm]
NON-OPENABLE WINDOWS The price for windows in non-standard sizes is individually calculated. To realise this type of windows customers should allow up to 6 weeks from date of order.

NON-STANDARD SHAPES
FAKRO windows can be manufactured in non-standard shapes on request. These windows are available in 1 version: with external pane made of non-toughened glass, internal pane made of secure, laminated glass, class 02

The price for windows in non-standard shapes is individually calculated. To realise this type of windows customers should allow up to 60 days from date of order.

MEANS OF ESCAPE

Standard escape window FWS has a flap-construction. A convex, transparent lid that can be risen up allows an easy exit to the roof and satisfactory lightning of a loft. The lid is made of special weather - resistant material (e.g. UV radiation, hail etc.)

Thanks to its thermal insulation characteristics, this window is designed exclusively for non-heated rooms.

The flashing is an integral part of the escape window.
It enables an easy fit of the window to the roof slope, covered with flat (type ESV) or profiled (type EZV) roofing materials.

Handle in the escape window
We have changed the plastic handle, previously used Fakro escape windows, for a metal handle. It allows the window to be left in 3 locking positions:

Position 1: the window is locked tight
Position 2 and 3: provide gaps between the sash and the outer frame in order to ventilate the room.

Window in size 54x75 is equipped with a single handle, while window size 86x86 – with two handles.

Our Termo-insulating escape window FWP, FWL has a flap-construction. It took all the best characteristics from a regular roof window and escape window.
It opens to the sides (right – see insert or left) and has 57x89 of glazing area), thanks to which it allows easy and fast exit to the roof. Equipped with secure termo-insulating laminated panes, the window is recommended for all the types of habitats (rooms, bathrooms, offices, etc.)
External dimensions of the sash are the same as in rotary windows, thus the window may be equipped with any internal additional accessories: roller blinds, venetian blinds, pleats, etc)

External size: 66x98 cm
The window is available in Termo Lux (FWL) version.
For this window we have designed special flashings,
type ES, EZ, EH.

Micro-opening
The handle in this type of escape window is installed on the side. It allows the window
to be left in 3 locking positions:

LOFT LADDER

The FAKRO loft ladder consists of three folding sections and is made out of Pinewood. The ladder provides easy and safe access to roof space. The FAKRO ladder promotes functionality, durability and high comfort. After installation the ladder folds away neatly finishing flush with the ceiling. The ladder can than be decorated to the users preference. The aesthetically pleasing lid does not generally require additional work.
The lid is manufactured from Pinewood. On both the inside and the outside a white HDF sheet is fixed and the space is filled with Styrofoam. The External finish is free of any hardware elements on the outside of the lid. The lock and the metal rod with which the ladder is equipped allow it to be securely locked in the closed position. The position of the hardware and springs provides the maximum use of the opening. The fitting brackets can also be adjusted. In order to improve the durability of the stairs the steps are slotted in to the frame of the ladder. Anti slip groves are provided as an added safety feature. The Loft Ladder is manufacrures in 2 versions: Smat, the lid has a beige finiss Comfort, the lid is white, and ladder is equipped with hand rail Characteristics maximum load 160 kg length of the step 34 cm width of the step 8 cm thickness of thermal insulation 3 cm Special order: length 111÷140 cm width 60÷80 cm height up to 290 cm

DUET WINDOWS

The FAKRO DUET window is designed for installation in vertical combinations under or above roof windows.
It provides much better light into the room and a wider field of view.
It is available in version TERMO STANDARD (FTS), TERMO PLUS (FTP) and TERMO LUX (FTL), both in openable and non-openable version.

Duet windows are equipped with glazing units:

L-SHAPED WINDOWS

The L-shaped window is installed in the vertical perimeter wall.
It is combined with a standard window installed on the roof slope. It is available in openable and non-openable versions.
The openable version may be equipped with a special blockade protecting the window from full opening.

L shaped windows are equipped with glazing units:

TOP WINDOWS

Top windowsare installed above the standard openable windows.
They can be designed in the shape of a triangle, bow or rectangle (Duet windows).
Original shapes, additional light into the room as well as adding interesting shapes to the room are unquestionable advantages of this solution.
The top window available in non-openable version is equipped with a laminated low-emission pane (U =1.1 W/m²K)

SPECJAL GLAZING

Types of non-standard panes installed with FAKRO windows on individual request.

All special panes used for non-standard combinations are made of non-toughened glass. The manufacture period for such orders is up to 30 days.
It is possible to toughen the special panes, in such case the realisation period is 90 days, additional payment 10%.


Anti-burglary pane, class P3 Ii is composed of 2 layers of glass, with anti-burglary foil between. a) Internal anti-burglary pane 44.4 b) Toughened external pane FTP mm low E 1,3 • Surcharge for FTP window with anti-burglary pane is 30%.	Sound absorbing pane Significantly reduces noise transmission to the room. It has excellent acoustic insulation parameters. Heat transfer coefficient of the pane is K=1.4 W/m²K. Acoustic insulation coefficient Rpane=40 dB The window with the sound absorbing pane is equipped with two rebate seals, yet it is not equipped with a ventilation flap. a) Internal sound absorbing pane with a layer of resin between the panes b) External pane with a low-emission layer E 1.3 • Surcharge for FTP window with sound absorbing pane is 50%.	UV non-permeable pane Thanks to the use of a low-emission layer and a special foil which reduces UV radiation in 99% , our UV non-permeable pane: - protects from damage caused by UV radiation - significantly reduces heating of the room during summer - has very good thermal insulation characteristics a) Internal pane with UV non-permeable foil b) External toughened pane FTP mm low E 1.3. (Argon) • Surcharge for FTP window with UV non-permeable pane is 30%.


Absorbing pane Reduces sun radiation transmission to the room. Available in the following range of colours: brown, graphite, green, blue, for all types of the windows. • Surcharge the window in this version depends on the chosen colour: 20% brown 20% graphite 20% green 30% blue	Reflective pane Reflects sun radiation. From the outside it works like a mirror. Available in brown, graphite, green, blue and transparent. • Surcharge for the window in this version depends on the chosen colour: 30% brown 30% graphite 30% green 50% blue 20% transparent	Ornament pane Manufactured using a special technique. One surface remains smooth, The other one is patterned with a regular or irregular design. Available in all versions.
