Note about the Internet Edition of The Beauchamp Earls of Warwick, 1268-1369
This is an MPhil thesis which I completed in July 1997, for the Dept of Medieval History at Birmingham University, and was subsequently passed by my examiners.
It has always been my intention to put my finished thesis on the web. Whilst I was researching this, I made one frantic trip to London to view a doctoral thesis which I feared I might be duplicating. Things worked out okay, but I would have saved train fare and considerable anxiety, had I been able to read the thesis over the web.
Please Note: This version of my thesis does NOT contain footnotes. If you would like a version with footnotes, then I will email it to you as a file attachment in Microsoft Word. This is for two very good reasons.
1) It means that I know who is using my thesis in a serious capacity.
2) I can't work out how to convert the footnotes to html.
Please let me know if this thesis has been of any interest or of use to you. It represents two years out of my life, and I would be very interested to know your opinion.
