How much does it cost?
VHSToDisk.co.uk per tape conversion fees are based on how long the movie is, and the required format. Typical conversion costs (excluding post and packing) are listed in the table:

The fee includes the recordable *CD media the movie is recorded to and return delivery by standard surface mail. Additional copies of the movie are £2.50 per copy for Video CDs and all movies recorded to CD-R/RW media, and £6.50 for movies recorded to DVD-R media.
*Please note each media type has a finite recording capacity. Typically, about an hour can be recorded to a CD-R/RW disk in video CD format, and 20 minutes in DVD format. A DVD-R disk can hold about 2 hours in DVD format.
VHSToDisk.co.uk can also copy your VHS/DV tape to another VHS/DV tape.
VHSToDisk.co.uk would be pleased to quote for converting tapes of other length.
Post and packaging options
VHSToDisk.co.uk has four post and packaging options:
Return your original tape and converted disk to you by standard signed for surface mail (this is free for single tape orders).
Recorded delivery - £1.50 per tape
Special delivery - £4.00 per tape
Insured delivery - price on application
VHSToDisk.co.uk recommends that you use our special delivery service where the tape and disk are returned to you using the Post Office's special delivery service.

What I should know!
Not all DVD players support all recordable CD media. This means that a converted movie may not play on a specific DVD player. The following link http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php provides a list of what media is supported by what player. As an example the SONY DVS-300 only plays converted movies recorded to CD-RW (rewriteable CDs) and DVD-R (recordable DVD) media.
Since VHSToDisk.co.uk cannot test the converted movie on a specific DVD player, it is the customers responsibility to specify the media to use.
Please note that most PC CD-ROM drives can play CD-R/RW disks and PC DVD drives can generally play the lot.
What we won't convert
VHSToDisk.co.uk will not convert copyrighted material. All copyrighted material will be returned without conversion to you.
VHSToDisk.co.uk will not convert movies that contain images that are illegal or offensive.
